I'm so sorry for what you are going through.
I can't imagine what it's really like to be there and to have to go through it first hand.
Just know that there is always hope. Even in the worst of times!
The whole world is watching you right now, praying, and trusting in Japan because it is such a great country.
You are among the smartest people in the world and everyone knows that you can recover from anything.
Please don't blame the ocean for this either. Surfing is an awesome sport and waves bring happiness and joy.
It's just nature running it's course. I'm sure we'll have an earthquake here and possibly a tsunami in CA someday soon too.
We have no control over that. Don't blame yourselves for anything.
It can only get better from here on out.

日本の最高な人達へ、
今皆さんが直面している状況を、とても残念に思っています。
実際その現場に居る事が、どれだけ困難な事か、想像すら出来ません。
ただ、いつの時も希望はあります。それは最悪の状況にいても同じ事！
世界中が日本を見守り、祈り、そして日本が素晴らしい国だと分かっているから、信じています。
日本人は世界の中でも特に賢い人種だから、どんな状況からも回復できると、みんなが確信しています。
そして今回の惨事を海のせいにはしないで下さい。サーフィンは素晴らしいスポーツで、波は幸せと快楽を与えてくれます。
今回の事は、自然の経路の一部だったのです。きっと近々に、ここカリフォルニアにも地震と津波が来るはずです。
でも誰もコントロールの出来ない事。だから自分達を責めたりはしないで下さい。
ここからは回復に向かうのみです。
